Our History and Future

The Sign Shop was started in 1999 predominately as a service for the parent company, Walker Construction and the subsidiary, Walker Highways. Specialising in traffic management and highway signage, The Sign Shop were also able to offer this type of signage to external clients. Along with this came the introduction of our P.P.E. supply service for Walker Construction and again, external clients.

In August 2006, Walker Construction made a decision to expand The Sign Shop and heavily invest in it's future. This included more staff, a new purpose built workshop with drive in vehicle lettering bay next door, new computers, software and the latest in vinyl cutting machinery.
This has enabled us to be better equipped to tackle our customers higher and more diversified demands.

With all of this investment, we are now more productive and competitive than ever before. We will not rest on our laurels though and are always looking to the future for investment in new products, technology and services.
